Abusing your spouse, grandparents or child physically or emotionally can result in charges of domestic violence being filed. The definition of domestic violence is the use of physical force, usually accompanied by fury, vehemence, or outrage; especially physical force unlawfully exercised, with the intent to harm a spouse, loved one mentally and physically. Domestic violence can include sexual abuse, intimidation, threats or deprivation of daily human activities and rights.
